Frankie Calkins grew up in Tacoma, WA and earned his B.A. in Communication from the University of Washington in 2007. After graduation, he taught high school English, drama, and film studies at San Jose High School through Teach For America. He went on to earn his Master of Education from the University of Washington in 2012.

He’s a proud triple-uncle, double-Husky, husband, and dog-dad of Leo, a border collie golden retriever mix. He currently works as a Marketing Director and lives in the Seattle area, often daydreaming of the Seattle Supersonics returning...
